F: Are you interested in music? 你喜欢音乐吗？

E: Yes. I like classical music. 是的。 我喜欢古典音乐。

F: What are your favorites? 那你最喜爱的音乐作品是什么呢？

E: Hard to tell. 很难讲。

    Mm... I should say Beethoven's " fifth Symphony ", Schubert's " Serenade" , Chopin's Piano concertos and so on. 嗯。。。应该说贝多芬的第五交响乐，舒伯特的小夜曲，肖邦的钢琴协奏曲等等，我都很喜欢。

F: You play the piano, too, don't you? 你还会弹钢琴，对吗？

E: A little. Just for entertainment. How about you? 一点点，只是为了消遣一下。你呢？

F: I dig songs and I like pop music very much. 我特别喜欢歌曲和流行音乐。

    I have a large collection. 我有很多收集的唱片。

E: What are your preferences? 都有什么呢？

F: Many. " Right Here Waiting ", " Yesterday once more ", " When you believe ", " One Sweet Day", for example. 很多呀。 比如： “ 在此等待 ”， “ 昨日重现”，“ 只要你相信 ”， “ 甜蜜的日子 ” 等等。

E: Fantastic. Me too. You really have an ear for pop music. 太棒了。 我也一样。你确实对流行音乐很有欣赏力。

F: What kind of pop music do you like the best? 你最喜欢什么类型的流行音乐呢？

E: I like R&B, Jazz and country music. 我喜欢节奏布鲁斯，爵士和乡村音乐。

F: How about the singers? 那歌手呢？

E: Michael Jackson, Beatles and Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, and so on.

    有迈克· 杰克逊， 甲壳虫乐队，玛丽亚· 凯丽， 席琳· 迪昂 等等。

F: Unbelievable! You're the real master in pop music! 

    真不可思议！你才是真正精通流行音乐的大师呀！

E: Oh, you are kidding me. I just love music.
