    近年来, 音乐产业的迅速发展举世瞩目. 根据IFPI全球音乐报告*提供的数据, 在过去的一年里, 的唱片发行总收入增长了20.3%, 而流媒体业务更是增长了30.6%之多. 与此同时, .

    借此契机, 洛加大学生学者联合会 (CSSA-UCLA)UCLA Herb Alpert 音乐学院, UCLA校友中心, 以及乐团的支持下举办UCLA首届音乐产业论坛.

    “Recent years have witnessed a steady growth and flourishment in China’s music industry and it is the time when more cultural and business exchange between the U.S. and China is called for. According to IFPI Global Music Report, recorded music revenue grew 20.3% in China last year, driven by a 30.6% rise in streaming. Meanwhile, China’s central government has listed the development of the music industry as a major cultural project in a five-year work plan for cultural developments and reforms between 2016 and 2020.
    On March 4th, CSSA-UCLA, with the support of UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, UCLA Alumni Center, and Chinese Music Ensemble, will bring about the first UCLA U.S.-China Music Industry Forum in Jan Popper Theatre. The three panels dive into the bilateral dynamics in the music industry from various angles such as the artistic, the creative, the legal, and the business, and conclude with an outlook of the cutting edge tech development in the U.S. and its implications on the future of music industry around the globe.
    The panel features esteemed figures in the field, from Grammy award-winning producers and artists, industry experts in music publishing, record labels, entertainment law, to previous head of Sony Music and Fox Music, executives from UMG and Disney, as well as innovators stay ahead of the time.”

 International Music Creatives 


This panel talks about how music can be created and produced between two different countries in a way that can be mutually beneficial. Suggestions for music creators in understanding how the future of creating music in China, US and the world will be.

This panel talks about different aspects of the music business, including publishing, recording, live performance, agents, legal issues etc. Speakers who are industry professionals and executives will share their experience and knowledge and will discuss how to improve the state of US-China music business.
